Health Visitor

Health Visitors are qualified nurses with specialist training in community health. They work primarily with the under 5’s and their families. They work in partnership with local community, other health and social care professionals and voluntary agencies. They also promote and provide health information and support, provide home visiting and involvement in local groups/activities, offer assessment of health needs and information about local services.
